A few common questions

Yes! Gift certificates for dog portrait sessions make meaningful gifts for the dog parents in your life who would treasure this experience.

Unleashed With Love gift certificates start at $195 and include:

  • A relaxed, dog-led portrait session for up to two dogs from the same household
  • A gift print of the recipient’s choice
  • A gallery reveal where they’ll select their favorite images and order artwork for their home

Gift certificates are emailed directly to you or your recipient — no wrapping required.

They make heartfelt gifts for birthdays, holidays, gotcha days, senior dogs, or any moment worth celebrating with the dogs you love.

Perfect behavior is not required. In fact, I find it suspicious! I specialize in dog photography for dogs of all temperaments: shy, reactive, energetic, senior dogs, opinionated pups, and everything in between. Most outdoor sessions involve leashes for safety, but don’t worry—they disappear in editing. Your dog’s personality is exactly what we’re here to capture.

Yes, just dogs. Unfortunately, thanks to a lifelong allergy, my cat-wrangling skills are about as smooth as a squirrel on roller skates. So, I stick to dogs—who, thankfully, speak my language (and don’t leave me sneezing my head off)!

Dog portrait sessions include up to two dogs from the same household. If you’re sharing life with more than two (I’m jealous), let’s talk about your pack and how to best capture them together during your session. Larger groups require extra time and planning, so an additional fee applies.

Absolutely. The bond between you and your dog—the way they look at you, lean into you, trust you—is often what matters most in dog portrait photography. Images of the two of you together are frequently the ones clients treasure above all else.

Dog portrait sessions in the greater Milwaukee area are typically booked three to four weeks in advance, with the option to reserve dates up to four months ahead. If time feels limited with your dog, I’ll do everything I can to accommodate your session as quickly as possible.

Your artwork lives beautifully both on the wall and digitally. Each piece of dog portrait art you purchase includes the corresponding social-friendly digital file, sized and optimized for easy sharing on social media.
