With your dog’s birthday or gotcha day just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than with a delicious homemade dog cake. It’s not only a fun way to mark the their special day, but making your own cake can be a tail-wagging alternative to store-bought treats.
One of my favorite… well more likely Abby and Maggie’s favorite is a 2 layer carrot cake with fluffy whipped potato “frosting” from Recipe Tin Eats. Yes, this “frosting” looks just like a vanilla buttercream, so make sure to give fair warning to anyone else in the house so that they don’t go sneaking a taste. While, all the ingredients are human friendly, you’ll find it tastes nothing like it looks!
